·         20+ years advancing Catholic identity, mission integration, ethics, and service to underserved communities across Catholic, not-for-profit health systems, with direct CEO reporting and 14+ years serving on an executive leadership team.

·         Directed mission integration across 5 hospitals, overseeing spiritual care, ethics, volunteer services, community benefit effectiveness, and Schedule H/990 reporting for $40M in annual uncompensated care.

·         Secured $15M+ through a 5-year Medicaid reform program, opening 2 clinics for underserved populations, and co-wrote a successful $186K behavioral health grant proposal that funded collaboration with local police and reduced ER visits.

·         Established Texas’s first Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) embedded within a Catholic hospital and launched a monthly Community Advisory Committee that enabled 6 local nonprofit agencies to receive $2M+ in annual community grants.

·         Reduced average ICU length of stay by 1.5 days in cases involving conflicting patient care goals by creating a weekly Ethics Huddle that became a system best practice.
