The Summit Academy is seeking a HS Field Hockey Coach for 2025 fall season.
The Summit Academy is a small, independent school for students in grades 6-12 that provides a liberal arts education rooted in the Catholic tradition. Our school is dedicated to fostering academic excellence, personal growth, and athletic development. We believe that athletics at its best, will reinforce the lessons that are taught in the classroom. Likewise, academics will reinforce the learning that happens on the athletic field. We are seeking a Field Hockey Coach to join our athletic department on a part-time basis.

Job Description: The Field Hockey Coach will be responsible for coaching and developing the skills of our high school field hockey team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of field hockey, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement practice plans to improve individual and team performance. - Teach the fundamental skills of field hockey. - Provide guidance and mentorship to student-athletes. - Coordinate and supervise all aspects of the field hockey program, including games, practices, and conditioning sessions. - Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes. - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration. - Uphold the values and mission of The Summit Academy.
Qualifications: - Extensive knowledge of field hockey rules, strategies, and techniques. - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. - Ability to work effectively with high school students. - Commitment to promoting a positive and supportive team environment. - Previous playing experience at the high school or college level.
Work Schedule: - Part-time position with flexible hours. - Availability for afternoon practices and games.
Compensation: - Competitive stipend commensurate with experience.
