Our Lady of Hope Catholic School is seeking a part time (up to 30 hours) Resource Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
Our Lady of Hope Catholic School is a K-8 elementary school located on a beautiful campus in Potomac Falls, Virginia. Duties include: Create Student Assistance Plans Work with teachers to ensure that student accommodations are met. Provide small group instruction, and individualized instruction for students with special needs Participate in eligibility meetings and IEP/ISP meetings Use research-based intervention practices Assist in screening new students applying for enrollment Help classroom teachers through observations and assessments of students recommended for referral Provide recommendations to teachers for classroom strategies, accommodations to address students' needs Standardized testing assistance Facilitate meetings with teachers and parents
Ideal candidate has: Virginia state licensure or the ability to obtain VCEA certification Experience in special education Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
