Position Summary The Director of Admissions and Enrollment leads and executes the school's comprehensive enrollment strategy while directly managing all day-to-day admissions operations. This role combines strategic leadership and hands-on execution, ensuring both the design of effective enrollment systems and the personal, high-quality engagement of prospective students and families. The Director is responsible for enrollment growth, admissions processes, and delivering a seamless, mission-aligned experience from first inquiry through enrollment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Catholic Education & Spiritual Formation o Promote and uphold Gospel values, Catholic moral teaching, and the doctrinal teachings of the Catholic Church in all aspects of the role. o Foster a Catholic environment through leadership, service, and professional interactions. o Represent the school positively within the community and support its mission through daily responsibilities.
Enrollment, Strategy & Leadership o Develop, implement, and refine a comprehensive enrollment strategy aligned with school goals. o Establish and manage enrollment targets (inquiries, applicants, yield, retention). o Analyze enrollment data and market trends to guide decision-making. o Lead long-term enrollment planning, including growth forecasting and market positioning. o Collaborate with leadership on tuition strategy, financial aid alignment, and sustainability.
Admissions Operations o Own and execute the full admissions lifecycle: inquiry through enrollment. o Develop and maintain admissions policies, procedures, and timelines. o Manage the application process, including file review, decision-making, and notifications. o Coordinate admissions testing and applicant evaluations. o Maintain and ensure accuracy of the admissions database/CRM. o Handle and safeguard all applicant records and documentation. o Manage all communications with prospective students and families (email, phone, in-person). o Ensure a seamless, professional, and responsive admissions experience.
Recruitment, Engagement & Hospitality o Personally engage with prospective families, including tours, meetings, and follow-up. o Provide a high level of hospitality to all campus visitors. o Maintain strong personal communication with applicants and families throughout the process. o Develop deep familiarity with prospective students and families. o Plan, coordinate, and execute all admissions events, including Open House, Shadow days, Information sessions, Special recruitment events, partnering with Director of Special Events and Director of Marketing; Communications as needed. o Coordinate logistics for all enrollment activities and events. o Train and manage student ambassadors and tour guides. o Build and maintain relationships with feeder schools, parishes, and community partners.
Communications & Messaging o Prepare and oversee communications and print/digital materials for prospective families. o Clearly and enthusiastically communicate the school's mission, culture, curriculum, and programs. o Partner with Advancement/Marketing to align messaging and outreach strategies. o Develop new approaches to outreach, engagement, and storytelling.
School Community o Establish and maintain communication with local Catholic elementary schools and parishes. o Be visible, present, and engaged on campus. o Support and participate in school events (including advancement-related events). o Contribute to building a strong school culture and community. o Remain flexible and responsive as the school grows.
Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree or academic/professional equivalent Experience o 5-10+ years of relevant experience in admissions, enrollment management, or related field o Strongly preferred: Collegiate admissions experience o Experience in Catholic education or faith-based organizations preferred

Physical Requirements o Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including moving between campus buildings and outdoor areas. o Ability to use a computer and other standard office equipment for prolonged periods.
