    Description

    The Special Education Teacher provides:
    Case management and in-classroom support
    Scaffolding and designing modified lessons and materials aligned to grade-level content areas
    On-going student assessment and evaluation including identifying goals and progress monitoring
    Collaboration with the Student Support Services team, and support classroom teachers
    Qualifications:
    Must hold a Bachelor's Degree, some preference for Master's or higher
    Preference given to Catholic candidates
    Salary commensurate with degree and experience

    Pension Plan: Annual Contribution of 6% of salary to retirement plan
    Parental Leave: 60 Calendar Days for mothers and 30 Calendar Days for fathers fully paid upon the birth/placement of a child (natural birth, adoption, foster-to-adopt). Full parental leave can be used if employed 12 months or longer. Half (30 days for mothers/15 days for fathers) can be used if employed 6 months to a year
