The Diocese of Greensburg is seeking passionate, Christ-centered leaders to serve as Regional Directors of Formation and Discipleship. This is more than a job—it is an opportunity to help people of every age encounter Jesus Christ, deepen their Catholic faith, and grow as missionary disciples.

As a Regional Director, you will collaborate with pastors, parish staff, volunteers, and diocesan leadership to strengthen and coordinate faith formation across multiple parishes. Through visionary leadership, collaboration, and accompaniment, you will help create vibrant parish communities where children, youth, adults, and families are formed to live the Gospel.

Your Mission

As a Regional Director of Formation and Discipleship, you will:

· Lead and coordinate comprehensive faith formation for children, youth, adults, and families across multiple parishes.

· Develop creative and engaging opportunities that foster lifelong discipleship.

· Recruit, train, mentor, and support catechists and parish volunteers.

· Collaborate with pastors, parish leaders, schools, and diocesan staff to strengthen catechetical ministry.

· Encourage families to become vibrant domestic churches where the Catholic faith is lived and shared.

· Build a culture of evangelization, accompaniment, and missionary discipleship throughout the region.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants should:

· Be a practicing Catholic in good standing and a registered member of a Catholic parish.

· Believe, profess, and faithfully support the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

· Demonstrate familiarity with catechetical formation, evangelization, and discipleship.

· Possess strong leadership, communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.

· Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to travel among multiple parish locations.

· Hold Advanced Certification (or its equivalent) in the Diocese of Greensburg or commit to completing certification within 24 months of employment.

· Successfully complete all required criminal background clearances and Safe Environment requirements and maintain those clearances throughout employment.

Position Details

This is a full-time exempt position requiring a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to support parish and diocesan ministry. The Regional Director will maintain office and storage space at multiple parish locations throughout the assigned region.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
