About
Hey guys! Our generation is disillusioned with corporate culture, and all the craziness happening in the world, and so I want to bring together like-minded folks around our age (25-35) to combat this. I want to find all interests, all walks-of-life, and a shared love of serving others for a fun impactful business / project / idea. I want to launch and create something with amazing people that inspire me, and so I would love help working through an exciting albeit crazy idea. I posted this because I just felt this spiritual nudge, and so I'm just going to run with it and see haha.
We hear about discerning vocations, and I'd love to put that discernment into action with other people. It would be awesome to bring together Catholic young adults, but anyone is welcome! I want any and all backgrounds! Creatives, entrepreneurs, tech savvy people, and even corporate minded folks looking to break away from the monotony are welcome! Even if it goes nowhere, I want to meet awesome people in the process.
St. Ignatius of Loyola's "go forth and set the world on fire" quote and the Catholic tenet of cura personalis (care of the whole person) and AMDG (doing things for the ultra greater good) are what I try to live by, and I'd like baked into the DNA of this potentially fun idea.
I'm also big into health & wellness, fitness, outdoors, live music, clean eating, time with friends, coffee shop trips; it would be great to meet business-minded people on a similar wavelength!
I made this post because I'd love to bring us altogether for a Zoom or in-person chat just to meet and talk about if this is even feasible haha. Even though this post isn't a concrete job, I want to see where our discussions lead.
I'm based in the Raleigh-Durham area in North Carolina, so if you're also from the Research Triangle and want to meet up in person, feel free to reach out! If you're from somewhere else, I'm excited to connect virtually!
Thanks so much guys, and looking forward to meeting you.
