Full-Time Position Holy Savior Academy is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-centered educator to teach Middle School Science and Social Studies for grades 6 - 8. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about academic excellence, committed to fostering a positive classroom environment, and eager to support the mission and values of Catholic education. Someone who will be a team player in our small school community.
Responsibilities * Teach Science and Social Studies courses for students in grades 6 - 8 * Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards * Create a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and respect * Foster a positive and engaging learning environment * Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records * Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and administration * Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities * Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences into instruction * Support the mission and values of Catholic education
Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required * Valid teaching certification preferred * Middle school teaching experience preferred * Strong classroom management and communication skills * Commitment to academic excellence and student growth * Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
