DESCRIPTION Holy Trinity Catholic School is seeking a joyful, faith-filled long-term substitute first-grade teacher for the 2024-25 academic starting as soon as possible. There is an opportunity to remain in the 1st-grade teaching position (with benefits) for the next school year. The ideal candidate will be willing to share in our mission to provide excellent education rooted in holiness while guiding our students on the path to heaven. Holy Trinity School is a conservative, traditional Roman Catholic school that boasts small class sizes and a connected family-like community. Our faculty works collaboratively with one another to provide a challenging curriculum that is presented through quality instruction and is authentic to our Catholic faith.
BENEFITS: -Opportunity for a permanent full-time position. -A tuition discount of 75% for all children enrolled in the school. -Salary $36,000-$41,000 -Non-exempt, not benefit-eligible position.
QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will:
-Be an actively practicing Catholic who desires to share the faith with students. -Be committed to academic excellence and a willingness to meet the education needs of the individual student. -Utilize technology in the classroom for teaching and learning. -Work in partnership with teachers, specialists, support staff, and administration. -Communicate effectively with students, families, staff members, and the community. -Have a BA/BS Degree. -Hold a Minnesota teaching license in Elementary Education (preferred but not required). -Have appropriate education experiences.
