The Forged Coordinator invests in middle school and high school boys to help them come to know and experience Jesus Christ in their lives through the power of the Holy Spirit and equipping them to live as leaders and disciples in the world.
The Forged Coordinator is full-time and required to work in our Ann Arbor, Michigan, office. Under the supervision of the Director of Forged, the Forged Coordinator:
--Co-leads a Forged Squad (bi-weekly small group) and mentors high school boys and college aged young men. --Invests in and builds engagement among Forged Squad leaders (volunteer small group leaders). --Coordinates communication and maintains relationships with parents, donors, parishes, middle schools, and high schools. --Participates in regular in-school discipleship opportunities in local middle and high schools. --Plans and executes Forged events, including ministry events, retreats, and fundraising events and opportunities. --Identifies potential opportunities for leaders and participants to engage in service projects. --Serve as the Assistant Director of Junior Staff at Pine Hills Camp, assisting the Camp Leadership Team in leading the high school Camp staff.
The Forged Coordinator will have: --Personal commitment to Catholic orthodoxy and evangelization. --Desire and drive to walk with middle school and high school boys as they come to know Jesus Christ. --Experience in youth ministry, evangelization, and discipleship. --Exceptional leadership gifts. --Excellent communication and organizational skills. --A bachelor's degree in theology, pastoral ministry, education, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
