We are seeking an experienced Nurse or Medical Assistant who is passionate about our mission as a Christ-centered family healthcare center. This position is for 3 days/week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) from 7:30-5:30.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage patient flow with both check in and check out, including taking vitals, rooming patients, cleaning room after patient care. 2. Assisting with procedures, performing blood draws and vaccine administration, helping with in-office patient counseling/education, eventually teaching natural family planning classes out of the office (which are reimbursable). 3. Calling patients back with lab results, follow-up instructions, etc., calling to get prior authorizations for procedures and medications. 4. Cleaning medical equipment, assisting in in-office lab procedures including urine, pregnancy, and other point-of-care testing. 5. Other duties as assigned.
