Johnathan Blauw

I am looking to find work in education, and freelance writing and narration. I would like to make a solid income, and be creative while I do that. I have determined that either returning to the Seminary to become a priest, or becoming a university professor will likely be my profession in life. In the meantime I am striving to pay off my loans while capitalizing on my strengths and working at something I will love to do.
In February 2019, I received my Substitute Authorization license from the State of Iowa, and have been substitute teaching in the Des Moines metro. I am most interested in teaching History, Theology, and/or Philosophy. I’ve learned to apply my communication skills practically with a lot of different people of various roles and personalities by working in a wide variety of jobs - from family business to corporate inventory coordination to Retail.
Adventurer that I am, as I forge my way through society, I think it would be really cool to try other things as well, perhaps things like Trades, Architecture, Piloting (flying a plane), Tailoring, Liturgical Vestment Design, Construction, as well as Lifting and Coaching.
Looking in the Des Moines metro, planning to be here for some time, but interested in and open to traveling, as well.
