St. Joseph Parish in Grafton is seeking a full-time grade school Principal to minister to a vibrant, suburban parish school of 130+ students, within a faith-filled parish community of 1,200+ households. St. Joseph Parish School has amazing teachers, students, and parents with a supportive parish and surrounding community. The school has one class per grade from K3-8th grade. As part of the Pastoral Staff reporting to the Pastor, the Principal will serve as administrator of the school and perform the duties and responsibilities according to that role.
Key responsibilities include fostering a Catholic environment and identity, curriculum development, faculty/staff supervision, budget management, facility administration, development/fundraising oversight, Coordinator for the Choice and Special Needs Program, communication with the school, parish, and community, and collaboration with the Archdiocesan Schools Office.
Desired qualifications: - Faith-filled and practicing Roman Catholic who will partake in our parish mission statement "The Hands of Christ...Open to All" - Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Principal's License or in process - A passion for educational excellence - Ability to work collegially with faculty, parents and parish community - Excellent organizational, budgetary, and management skills - Effective oral and written communicator - Continues his/her own professional and spiritual development
