The Mary Mother of the Church Pastoral Center, located in St. Francis, is the main office for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. The archdiocese covers 4,758 square miles in southeast Wisconsin and includes the following counties: Dodge, Fond du Lac, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha. Almost 200 parishes and over 100 Catholic schools are part of the archdiocese. The primary function of the Administrative Assistant - Finance is to provide scheduling, general administrative and clerical support to the Chief Finance Officer and General Counsel. This position also serves as the recording secretary for various committees, providing minutes. Other duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with office event details and some bookkeeping.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to relate to all levels in the organization. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to work independently, and effectively. • Must possess strong organizational skills. • Practicing Catholic preferred.
Standard working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, and may require occasional evenings or weekend hours. Role is in-person at the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Central Offices. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
