Iowa Catholic Radio Network is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Sales and Underwriting Account Executive to grow underwriting revenue, build long-term sponsor partnerships, and ensure all messaging complies with FCC non-commercial broadcast guidelines. This role is ideal for a sales professional who values mission-driven work and enjoys connecting organizations with meaningful media outreach opportunities across our 8 station radio network in Iowa.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospect and secure new underwriting sponsors (businesses and nonprofits) • Maintain and renew existing sponsor relationships • Develop customized sponsorship proposals based on client goals • Ensure underwriting messages meet FCC compliance standards • Collaborate with Programming, Marketing and Development teams on strategy • Occasionally represent the organization at public events and community functions • Track pipeline activity and meet revenue targets
Qualifications:
Required
• Sales, fundraising, or business development experience • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines • Ability to professionally represent and communicate a mission rooted in Catholic values • Willingness to learn FCC underwriting guidelines
Preferred:
• Media, nonprofit, or sponsorship sales experience • Familiarity with broadcast, digital, or podcast platforms • CRM or sales tracking experience • Experience coordinating volunteers or teams
