All Souls Catholic Parish Staff Bookkeeper Full job description
Position Mission All Souls is seeking a trustworthy, detail-oriented bookkeeper to oversee the financial records of the parish, school, early learning center and other apostolates. This role is vital in supporting the mission and ministries of the church by ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong stewardship, and consistent financial practices across all ministry areas. The parish bookkeeper contributes to the organization's goals through daily operational activities, monthly, and yearly account reconciliation, interdepartmental support, and strategic projects. The goal of the position is to: • Provide accurate, timely, relevant, and reliable financial reporting. • Support in decision-making through attention to detail as well as effective and efficient solutions Position Responsibilities • Assist staff in day-to-day administrative support through Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, interim requests, and general assistance. • Reconcile assigned accounts to ensure processes, procedures, controls, and financials are accurate, timely, and reliable. • Assist in payroll processing through Paylocity. • Assist in the month-end close process and the annual audit. • Assist with annual budgeting and ongoing budget monitoring for all departments. • Experience with donor management systems. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred. • College and work experience will also be considered.
Compensation & Benefits For this role, we anticipate paying $50,000 - $55,000/year. This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on several factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, and duties.
