Position Overview Padua Academy is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. This position may be part-time or full-time depending on candidate availability and school needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching mathematics, committed to fostering confidence in young women, and supportive of the mission and values of Catholic education.
Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned mathematics instruction (courses may include Geometry, Algebra, or other high school math subjects) Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners Use a variety of instructional strategies to promote conceptual understanding and critical thinking Assess student learning through formative and summative methods and provide timely feedback Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events Support the spiritual, academic, and personal growth of students in alignment with Catholic values
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required) Teaching certification (preferred) Prior teaching experience at the high school level (preferred) Strong content knowledge in secondary mathematics Commitment to the mission of Catholic education Excellent communication and organizational skills
