Internal Auditor - Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland, Maine

The Internal Auditor is responsible for performing the audits of parishes, schools, and cemeteries. Additionally, this position supports the Finance Department by reviewing quarterly reports from diocesan entities across Maine. Successful candidates will have a B.S. in Accounting or a related field, five years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in public accounting (auditing) or internal auditing, and be able to travel 50% of the time. A practicing Catholic preferred.

Full benefits include: 85% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage. 6% of salary contribution to retirement, 403b account, and generous paid vacation. An opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week, with supervisor approval, at 6 months of employment.
