Position Overview: St. Mary's High School is seeking a dedicated and engaging Math Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will teach a range of high school mathematics courses, including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus, while helping students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a supportive, faith-centered learning environment.
Responsibilities: Teach a variety of high school math courses ranging from Algebra I through Pre-Calculus Develop clear and engaging lesson plans that support diverse learning styles Foster critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving skills Provide regular feedback and academic support to students Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues in the Math Department and across disciplines Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school leadership Support the mission and values of Catholic education at St. Mary's High School Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred) Experience teaching high school mathematics Ability to teach courses ranging from Algebra I through Pre-Calculus Strong classroom management and instructional skills Passion for helping students grow academically and personally Teaching license or ability to obtain licensure in the State of Colorado preferred Commitment to supporting the mission of Catholic education
