Physics Teacher (Full-Time) Inspire the next generation of scientists. Candidates should be capable of teaching Regents-level Physics and potentially AP curriculum, focusing on inquiry-based learning and lab experimentation.
Biology Teacher (Full-Time) Seeking an educator to lead students through the complexities of living systems. Responsibilities include delivering Regents and College-level Biology curriculum and overseeing required laboratory hours.
Italian & Spanish Teacher (Full-Time) A dual-language role for a versatile linguist. The successful candidate will teach various levels of both Italian and Spanish, fostering cultural appreciation and linguistic fluency.
Guidance Counselor (Leave Replacement) Support our students' academic, social, and emotional growth. This role involves college planning, personal counseling, and collaborating with families during a designated leave period (approx. August-December).
Assistant to the Dean of Students (Part-Time) Provide vital support in maintaining a positive school culture. Responsibilities include assisting with student attendance, conduct, and the implementation of school-wide policies.
Compensation & Benefits Salary: All faculty salaries are determined by the LFA Contract. Starting Salary: $48,000 (for candidates with no prior experience; credit given for years of service per contract). New York State Teacher Certification Environment: A supportive, faith-based community located in beautiful West Islip, NY.
