Job Description: Chelsea Academy is seeking a highly motivated part-time faculty member to provide Schola instruction in our Upper School during the 2025-2026 academic year. Desired candidates should have teaching experience, a knowledge and appreciation of the Catholic intellectual tradition, classical liberal arts pedagogy, a passion for educating and forming Christian youth, and a spirit of adventure.
Important qualifications and characteristics include: practicing Catholic in good standing, background in music education and/or performance, experience working with children, classroom management skills, a focus on student learning, ability to collaborate on a team, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
Mission: Chelsea Academy seeks to form confident young men and women educated in the liberal arts tradition and the Catholic faith from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Hours: Schola instruction of approximately 6 hours per week; class is Monday-Friday from 8:10am-9:00am and Mass on Mondays at 9:40am
Compensation and Benefits: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
