Description: St. Athanasius School is seeking a school counselor to support the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development of all students. The counselor will work individually, in small groups, and in classrooms to provide guidance lessons, social-emotional support, and faith-based character development. As part of the school leadership team, the counselor collaborates closely with teachers, families, and administration to promote a positive, safe, and faith-filled learning environment.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Counseling or a related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy)
Experience in school counseling or related settings preferred
Knowledge of human development, family systems, and counseling practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Practicing Catholic preferred who upholds and models the mission of Catholic education
