The Director of Music Education is a two day a week position that will coordinate Music Education with the classroom teachers and Choir Director. The successful candidate will have a love of working with children to help them develop a love and understanding of music and its composition. Instruction should relate to topics being covered in the Social Studies classes. Songs relating to our Catholic Religion are prioritized. Each class will be called upon to perform at the end of the year in a capacity related to their grade level. The Music Director will also work with classes to practice songs for graduation ceremonies. Salary is commensurate with experience. A Masters' degree in Music or Education with an undergraduate in Music is required.
