Your Mission:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Database Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in onboarding new clients by migrating their databases into our systems and maintaining existing client instances through updates and troubleshooting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your database management skills within a collaborative environment.

Your Role:
-Prepare and configure client databases for seamless import into our SQL-based systems, ensuring compatibility and optimized performance.
-Validate the integrity, consistency, and security of submitted databases, ensuring the submitted database structure and values during conversion.
-Implement existing database scripts and develop new processes to streamline database migration and management workflows.
-Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high data quality.
-Collaborate with team members during weekly support meetings to discuss ongoing projects, challenges, and improvements.
-Assist with ad-hoc tasks including data cleaning, reporting, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
-Answer and support existing clients with their support and database update requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:
-Prior experience with MS Access is advantageous but not mandatory.
-Proven experience working with MySQL, SQL, and other relational database management systems.
-Demonstrated ability to craft complex, efficient queries for data extraction and manipulation.
-Strong understanding of database procedures, schema design, and best practices.
-Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
-Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership; capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
-Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay Rate:
$44,000-$48,000 depending on experience.
