    FLSA: exempt employee
    Schedule: Monday through Friday (evening parent programs or weekend events)
    Hours: 7:50 am to 3:20 pm

    Mission: Rooted in the Catholic, Dominican tradition, St. Agnes Academy challenges young women through exceptional academic preparation and transformational experiences to lead with integrity, joy and a commitment to social justice.

    Job Purpose: The Director of Admissions at St. Agnes Academy organizes the entire recruiting and admissions decision-making process for the school.

    Faith, Community, and Dominican Charism:
    * Ensure that the four pillars of a Dominican education (prayer, study, community, preaching) are developed and promoted among the school community.
    * Develop an active faith community and model Christian values.
    * Support prayer and spiritual formation within the student, faculty/staff, and parent communities.
    * Uphold and implement the Dominican charism and the Houston Dominican Sisters' congregational goals.
    * Demonstrate a commitment to equity and inclusion by honoring the dignity of each member of the St. Agnes Academy community.

    Main Responsibilities:
    * Assist potential students and their families throughout the admission process
    * Respond to inquiries, questions and complaints regarding admissions
    * Lead school tours for interested parties as needed
    * Oversee the 8th grade visits program along with Student Ambassador program
    * Organize and promote the annual Open House program
    * Create programs to recruit potential applicants
    * Attend local high school recruiting events as needed
    * Direct and organize the entrance exam
    * Direct the admissions decision-making process
    * Oversee application materials received from applicants
    * Draft and oversee the release of Admission decisions
    * Direct and organize the registration for incoming 9th graders
    * Update and maintain the admissions section of the St. Agnes web site
    Requirements:
    Qualifications
    * Complete Safe Haven Training
    * Commitment to embracing the mission of St. Agnes Academy
    * Professional attitude and appearance
    * Bachelor's degree; masters preferred
    * At least 5 years of experience in admission at a college or high school
    * Maintain confidentiality in all school matters
    * Experience in planning and organizing recruitment events (open house, campus events) or similarly scaled events
    * Experience making data driven decision to meet enrollment goals
    * Experience in data base management
    * A high degree of diplomacy and communication skills with internal and external contacts
    * Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft office)
    * Local travel may be necessary to represent SAA at school or parish events

    Work Environment
    St. Agnes Academy is committed to hiring, developing, and retaining a diverse and highly competent faculty and staff. This job operates in a professional/educational environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit at desk area, communicate via phone/face to face, manually input data into a computer, walk to different office areas, reach with hands and arms, and lifting a minimum of 25 lbs.
