Classification Staff | Member of Advancement Team Reports to Advancement Director
Primary Function The Marketing and Event Coordinator supports the Advancement Team in the planning, coordination, and execution of AWC's events and related marketing initiatives. This position plays a key role in strengthening donor engagement, expanding community visibility, and ensuring the success of two major annual fundraising events, as well as numerous smaller events throughout the year. The Marketing and Event Coordinator brings strong organizational, communication, and project-management skills to help advance AWC's mission.
Job Duties • Works closely with the Advancement Director on marketing and fundraising programs. • Serves as a key member of the planning, logistics, and implementation team for major annual events and smaller department events. • Responsible for applicable administrative activities associated with fundraising programs and events. • Analyzes data from donor management system. • Supports the Executive Director in stewarding and maintaining relationships with donors. • Assists with writing donor communications and marketing plans for both donor and client relations. • Creates a spirit of gratitude for all gifts of time, talent, and treasure in a timely manner. • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands Activities in performance of duties include sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 25lbs, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, keystroking on a keyboard or similar device, talking, hearing and seeing.
