Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Job Summary:
Lumin Counseling is a growing private practice seeking an experienced, compassionate Counselor to join our growing team in Westerville, Ohio. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work remotely with occasional in-office sessions for clients who prefer face-to-face interaction. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services for individuals and/or couples. We have openings for full-time and part-time positions.

Key Responsibilities:
-Provide counseling services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for clients dealing with a range of mental health issues.
-Conduct both virtual and in-person sessions based on client needs and preferences.
-Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust as necessary to meet client goals.
-Maintain accurate and timely client documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
-Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals or service providers as needed to support client care.
-Stay up-to-date on the latest counseling techniques, ethical standards, and practices.
-Desire to incorporate faith-based/spiritual approaches into practice when appropriate.

Requirements:
-Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
-Licensed in the state of Ohio (LPC, LSW, MFT, LPCC, LISW, IMFT, or Psychologist). Provisionally licensed LPCs are welcome to apply - in-house supervision is available to support your professional growth and licensure requirements.
-Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
-Ability to manage a caseload independently and work with diverse populations.
-Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and basic computer skills.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Flexibility to meet clients both virtually and in-person in Westerville.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in specialized therapeutic approaches (CBT, EMDR, DBT, etc.).
-Experience working with specific populations (children, trauma survivors, couples, etc.).

-This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is highly competitive and based on client caseload, licensure, and specialized experience.
-We will work with you to fill your caseload to the level you want it to be as soon as possible.
-Flexibility in scheduling and administrative support that helps you focus on just providing excellent care to your clients.

Compensation:
-Provisionally licensed counselors (e.g., LPC) receive 70% of session fees and benefit from in-house supervision.
-Independently licensed counselors (e.g., LPCC, LISW, IMFT) receive 75% of session fees.
-A minimum commitment of 20 client hours per week is required.
