Job Title: Advancement Communications Manager Department: Office of Advancement Reports To: Director of Advancement Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 Position Type: Full-Time Position Overview The Advancement Communications Manager leads the strategy, creation, and management of communications that support fundraising, alumni engagement, and institutional advancement. This role oversees print and digital communications, publications, website content, and event promotion, while collaborating closely with the Advancement and Communications teams to strengthen relationships with alumni, donors, parents, and the broader community. Key Responsibilities Advancement Communications Manage production of Advancement print communications from concept to final delivery. Draft and edit emails and correspondence for the Office of Advancement. Research fundraising trends and innovative solicitation strategies. Collaborate with the Advancement team to identify audiences for communications. Website Management Manage Giving, Alumni, KAPA, and Maria Regina website pages. Create event pages with registration for alumni and advancement events. Magazine & Annual Report Oversee content development for the Annual Report in collaboration with designers and advancement staff Oversee the development and publication of the Heart & Mind magazine, including writing, editing, interviews, and coordination of photography. Ensure accuracy of captions, alumni recognition, and memorial listings. Event Promotion Write promotional content for advancement and alumni events. Create email invitation schedules and manage communications before and after events. Coordinate event promotion through newsletters, bulletins, and internal communications. Annual Fund & Campaigns Write annual appeal letters and special solicitation materials. Assist with planning and communications for Day of Giving and #GivingTuesday. Draft donor acknowledgment letters. Alumni Engagement Produce an Alumni Spotlight and Alumni E-Newsletter. Support alumni events, reunions, and data collection. Social Media & Annual Report Coordinate promotion of fundraising campaigns and alumni events across social media. Manage the school's LinkedIn alumni group Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field. 3-5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, advancement, or nonprofit development. Strong writing, editing, and project management skills. Experience managing digital content and coordinating print publications. Familiarity with Raiser's Edge.
