Holy Trinity Diocesan High School is looking for an energetic and collaborative individual for the full-time position of Main Office Secretary. This individual will work at Holy Trinity located in Hicksville, New York.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Respond to incoming calls and handle student inquiries - Transportation Coordinator responsible for relaying school calendar schedule to bus companies and updating contact list - Textbook Coordinator responsible for ordering textbooks, sending book lists to local school districts and distributing books to students not from Long Island - Order supplies for office - Update and distribute daily announcements - Act as liaison with the finance department to handle correspondence and billing - Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Work experience in a diverse, fast-paced office environment - Individual must have excellent communication, multi-tasking, time management, organizational and computer skills - Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Google Suite, Internet, scanning and storing documents, and email correspondence - Ability to work as a positive team member on projects and events, as needed - Bachelor's degree recommended
Hours of Work - Monday through Friday 35 hour work week with occasional weekends and evenings as dictated by the school calendar. The position pays $18/hour.
