    Director of Admissions

    Description

    Primary Responsibilities:
    Admissions Strategy & Enrollment Management
    - Develop and implement a comprehensive, data-driven admissions and enrollment plan to meet enrollment goals.
    - Manage the entire admissions process from inquiry through enrollment, including events, exams, interviews, and notifications.
    - Partner with school leadership on enrollment targets and priorities.
    - Collaborate on tuition assistance programs and financial aid processes.

    Marketing & Outreach
    - Develop targeted marketing strategies across various media channels.
    - Build relationships with elementary schools, parishes, and community organizations.
    - Organize recruitment events, school fairs, and presentations.
    - Oversee admissions content on the school website and promotional materials.

    Family Engagement & Relationship Building
    - Serve as the primary contact for prospective families.
    - Foster relationships with feeder schools, pastors, and religious educators.
    - Engage alumni and current families in recruitment efforts.

    Data Analysis & Reporting
    - Utilize admissions CRM tool to maintain records and analyze trends.
    - Prepare regular enrollment reports for leadership and board members.

    Qualifications:
    Education & Experience
    - Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
    - 2 + years of experience in admissions or enrollment management, preferably in Catholic or independent schools.
    - Practicing Catholic strongly preferred.
    - Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools.

    - Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
    - Proven success in marketing and recruitment planning.
    - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    - Culturally responsive and committed to diversity and inclusion.
    - Energetic, self-motivated team player.

    Preferred Attributes:
    - Knowledge of the Astoria/Queens Catholic school community.
    - Event planning experience.
    - Spanish or other language fluency helpful.

    Work Environment:
    Standard school and office environment, with regular evening and weekend events. Travel within Queens and surrounding boroughs required.
