Position Overview We are seeking dedicated and dynamic Elementary Educators to join our school community. Ideal candidates are passionate about inspiring student learning and supportive of the mission of Catholic education including Sacrament Preparation (if required).
Responsibilities * Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with NYS Next Generation Standards, utilizing diverse strategies to motivate and challenge all learners. * Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports academic achievement, spiritual development, and character growth. * Differentiate instruction to address varied learning styles and meet the unique needs of each student. * Establish and maintain clear, consistent expectations for behavior, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment. * Communicate student progress and classroom expectations regularly through email, phone calls, parent-teacher conferences, and an electronic grade book. * Willing to coordinate extracurricular activities.
Required Qualifications: *Be a practicing Roman Catholic as verified by a Pastor's Approval Form *Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university *New York State Certification or Proof of Pathway to NYS Certification *Satisfactory results for Employment verifications, References and a Background Search* *Up to date immunization record and satisfactory TB test according to Department of Health Guidelines.
