Archbishop Williams, a Catholic co-educational high school in Braintree, MA, seeks a team player to support its communications and marketing efforts as the Marketing and Communications Associate. This person will report to the Marketing and Communications Manager, and will work closely with the Chief Advancement Officer, Director of Institutional Enrollment and Retention and other members of the Administration team as needed. This is a full-time position that requires occasional night and weekend availability, to include presence at School events and activities on and off-campus as needed.

Job Responsibilities: Supports the management and creation of the annual marketing and communications calendar. Creates and disseminates social media content for the school to effectively engage varied school constituencies (Parents, Students, Alumni, Prospective Families). Administers the social media scheduling tool to plan, schedule, and publish posts effectively. Designs and creates branded collateral material (Admissions viewbook, direct mail solicitations, brochures, flyers, invitations, etc.) from creation through print production. Assists with photography for school website, social media and print publications; maintains a photo archive system. Provides support for school and alumni events by assisting with strategic planning and contributing to marketing and promotional strategies, adapting to meet the needs of each event (ie: Open House, AWHS Golf Tournament, Blue and Gold Gala, Commencement, etc.). Supports ongoing updates to the School's website, hosted by Finalsite, consistent with the school's brand guidelines (ie: acquiring and updating content). Maintains a database of media contacts: local reporters and events listing contacts. Supports content creation and production of the "Bishop's Ledger" Magazine. Provides consistent reporting on the efficacy of marketing initiatives to the Administration team and Board of Trustees (ie: Google Analytics). Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field. Three to five years of progressive experience in a communications or public relations setting, preferably in an educational institution. The ability to multitask under tight deadlines. Strong knowledge of computers (Apple-based) and design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Familiarity with digital photography and the print production process, from design through press. Familiarity with web content management systems (Finalsite) and social media integration (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn). Understanding of Google Analytics is preferred. Must be a people person with a positive demeanor and willing to join the AWHS community defined by its students, teachers, parents, alumni and friends.
