Are you passionate about digital media and storytelling? Do you want to use your creative talents to make a real impact in people's lives? St. John the Evangelist Parish - a vibrant, growing Catholic community - is looking for a full-time Media Specialist to help bring our mission, "To Be Disciples and Make Disciples," to life through the power of digital evangelization.

What You'll Do:
As our Media Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our communications and digital outreach efforts. You will:
- Lead and assist with full video production - from concept to recording to editing
- Capture the energy of parish life by filming B-roll, interviews, and live events
- Support our Sunday Experience livestream, as well as other parish broadcasts
- Train and guide volunteers on our sound and camera systems
- Create engaging content for social media, the parish website, bulletins, screens, and more
- Measure analytics and implement changes to grow our social media reach
- Manage website updates to ensure fresh, inspiring content is always front and center
- Highlight parish events, programs, and evangelization efforts through compelling visual storytelling
What You Bring:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with DSLR and PTZ cameras, sound boards, and lighting setups
- A solid understanding of video/audio editing and production workflows
- The ability to meet deadlines and bring new ideas to the table
- A collaborative spirit and passion for creative ministry
- A deep appreciation for - and ideally, a strong commitment to - the Catholic faith
