The Muncie Catholic Pastorate, including St. Francis of Assisi, St. Lawrence, and St. Mary Catholic churches, and St. Michael Catholic School, is seeking a detail oriented, mission driven Finance Manager to join our team. This role supports the life of our pastorate by overseeing the accounting team, financial reporting, budgeting, and our daily financial operations.
Key Responsibilities • Maintain accurate parish financial records and reports • Coordinate budgeting and long-term financial planning for the pastorate • Manage payroll, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations • Ensure compliance with diocesan policies and internal controls • Support the Pastor, Director of Operations, and Finance Council with clear, timely financial information
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in accounting • CPA preferred with at least three years of accounting and bookkeeping experience (nonprofit/parish experience a plus) • Experience with Sage Intacct Accounting Software a plus • Strong organizational and communication skills • Commitment to confidentiality and integrity
