The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and faith-filled Kindergarten Teacher to join our faculty for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive compensation and benefits. The ideal candidate is a joyful, energetic educator who is passionate about early childhood learning and committed to the mission of Catholic education.

Position Overview:
As a Kindergarten Teacher at Royal Palm Academy, you will help lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning in our youngest students. You will guide them through a year of joyful growth-academically, socially, and spiritually-by creating a nurturing classroom environment that reflects the beauty and truth of our Catholic faith. You will join a dedicated team of educators working together to form the minds, hearts, and characters of tomorrow's leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that align with grade-level curriculum and learning standards
Foster a positive, nurturing, and joyful classroom environment that promotes student confidence, cooperation, and curiosity
Integrate Catholic values and teachings throughout the day, helping students grow in faith and virtue
Support the academic, social, and emotional development of each student through differentiated instruction and effective classroom management
Communicate regularly with parents to share student progress and encourage strong home-school partnerships
Use a variety of formative and summative assessments to evaluate and support student growth
Collaborate with grade-level colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to ensure the success of each student
Utilize classroom technology and student information systems to support instruction and maintain accurate records
Uphold the mission and values of Royal Palm Academy in all aspects of teaching and community engagement

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of lead classroom teaching experience at the K-2 level
Passion for teaching young children and for fostering a classroom of joy, discovery, and faith
Strong classroom management and instructional skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with technology tools including Microsoft Office and student information systems
Commitment to providing outstanding service and support to students and families

Preferred Qualifications:
Practicing Catholic in good standing and able to teach Catholic theology in the classroom
Experience in Catholic school or independent school settings
Experience with early literacy programs, developmental assessments, and phonics instruction

Physical and Other Demands:
Ability to actively lead instruction in an early childhood classroom setting
Able to supervise and support young children both indoors and outdoors, including recess and movement-based activities
Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds and supporting classroom setup and student needs throughout the school day
Maintain professionalism, composure, and clear communication in a fast-paced and joyful environment
