This role aims to create a vibrant faith-centered environment where youth can grow in their relationship with God, each other, and the Church.

Serve as backup staff for Youth Confirmation Minister and assistant as needed.

Design and manage engaging faith formation programs tailored for high school students, including weekly meetings, retreats, service projects, and social events - overseeing the confirmation classes, retreats, recruit team members, and help organize Confirmation Masses.

Develop and deliver content that is relevant, age-appropriate, and aligned with traditional Catholic teachings.

Build strong, supportive relationships with youth throughout the parish, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Recruit, train, and support adult volunteers and peer leaders who assist with youth group activities.

Develop relationships between the parish and the local community in schools (groups, clubs, etc.).

Schedule and coordinate events, meetings, and activities.

Develop and distribute promotional materials, including bulletin ads, social media updates, and event flyers, to keep youth and their families informed and engaged.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of youth programs through feedback from participants, parents, and volunteers to adapt and refine programs based on feedback and changing needs of the youth.

Schedule events and classes in the parish reservation system.

Prepare and manage the budget for youth ministry activities and programs.

Ensure compliance with diocesan policies and safety procedures.

    Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in theology / religious education / or a related field preferred.
