General Manger Job Description KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED: • High quality leadership skills with the ability to work cooperatively with a wide range of individuals and Catholic organizations. • Good Public speaking skills along with computer literacy, attention to detail, task oriented and goals focused with an ability to work to deadlines • Good writing & communications skills • Ability to read, write and speak Spanish a plus, but not required • Capable team-working abilities • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials • Ability to produce and lead local live weekly radio show • Skills to organize a large volunteer community • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Ability to lead and motivate volunteer staff • Technical skills for radio equipment operations • Computer skills for recording radio announcements
GENERAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE: • Ability and experience in fundraising and building community support and engagement • Experience managing a volunteer-driven not-for-profit organization • High quality leadership skills with the ability to work cooperatively with a wide range of individuals and Catholic community organizations • Parish Outreach with Parish Presentations • Demonstrated proficiency in office productivity software • Ability and experience in fundraising and building community support and engagement • fundraising activities including on-air, outreach, and special events • Cultivate relationships with local Catholic Parishes, Catholic organizations and businesses • Acquiring Sponsor/Underwriters and donor cultivation and recognition • Actively involved in the community • Assist in facilitating positive staff-volunteer working relationships
