We are seeking an Assistant Director of Music Ministry to support the Director of Music Ministry in the organization, planning, communication, and potential production of liturgical music for a vibrant bi-lingual music program. There may be some flexibility in the job scope depending on the strengths of individual candidates.
Responsibilities: -Assist with the preparation and production of music for masses, funerals, weddings, and other special events -Coordinate and communicate with music volunteers, musicians, and parishioners -Assist with a variety administrative tasks -Some evening and weekend work may be required
Required Abilities: -Knowledge of and experience with the Catholic liturgy and music -Possess strong organizational and communication skills -Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability preferred -Semi-professional or professional level vocal or piano/organ performance abilities are a huge plus
Benefits: Salary: per experience and job responsibilities Hours: flexible 15-20 hours/week (remote work is possible)
