The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through eight Parish School in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking a Middle School pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry mathematics teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The math teacher will work closely with the Middle School team in a highly collaborative manner committed to offering excellence in student intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mathematics instruction, with an ability to develop and strengthen the mathematics skills of our students. Qualified candidates will fully embrace the mission of our Catholic school, which recognizes the infinite value of each student, seeks to develop the gifts of all, and nurtures them to be saints, stewards, and scholars, always with an eye to their eternal destiny. Ideal candidates will hold a Master's degree in science education or science, will hold or be willing to work towards certification, and have strong instructional experiences.
