Objective: The Business Development Specialist assists the maintenance of the recruitment pipeline from application review to setting the applicant for training. They are to maintain the pipeline and work towards its efficiency and expansion. In doing so, the Lead/Senior Business Development Specialist is at the service of Decided Excellence Catholic Media's fiscal growth and expansion of its mission through recruitment. Responsibilities: Assists the traditional recruiting pipeline by being fluent in: Reviewing applicants. Setting interviews. Running interviews. Attend monthly Business Development meetings. Actively engage in alternative avenues of recruitment such as Linkedin, etc.
Performance Expectations: The Business Development Specialist is to embrace their job with an upbeat and Christlike attitude. They must achieve the tangible goals set to them by the Director of Business Development (or be working toward those goals). By being fluent in the pipeline, attentive to detail, and creative and inspired in their approach to recruiting, the Business Development Specialist will be a vital asset in DECM's long-term growth. Time/Volume Expectations: Reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews: 4 hours per day. Running interviews: 30 min per interview. Pipeline Administrative Responsibilities: 1 Hour per week. Actively engages in new avenues of recruitment such as Linkedin, etc: As Needed.
Accountability: This position reports to the Director of Business Development and National Director of Sales.
