Igbo Catholic Community of Houston seeks a qualified Director of Administration & Operations (DAO) who will act as an active officer of the Igbo Catholic Community of Houston, providing full-time, on-site support to the Chaplain and ensuring that ICCH's mission progresses through excellent administration, transparent stewardship, and effective communication. "The DAO manages financial operations, bookkeeping, membership systems, communications, facilities, and ministry support." Key Areas of Responsibility 1. Administration & Governance • Manage daily office operations and provide administrative support to members and ministries. • Implement governance policies; maintain records and reports. • Serve as liaison to the Pastoral Council and Finance Council, ensuring communication and follow through. • Maintain secure archives and ensure compliance with Archdiocesan standards.
2. Liaison to Ministries & Organizations • Act as administrative liaison (not supervisor) to CMO, CWO, Facility Maintenance, Communication & Media, and other ministries. • Facilitate communication, scheduling, documentation, and mission-aligned collaboration.
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field (Master's preferred). • 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally in a church or nonprofit. • Strong organizational, communication, and digital skills. • Practicing Catholic committed to professionalism and ICCH's cultural identity.
