Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School is seeking a passionate and creative part-time Choir & Drama Teacher. The teacher will direct the school choir, teach vocal music, a theatre course, and oversee drama productions.
Responsibilities include planning and teaching choir and drama classes, directing concerts and theatrical performances, preparing students to participate in school liturgies, and fostering students' artistic talents while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong musical and theatrical expertise, effective classroom management, and a commitment to mentoring students in both their artistic and personal development.
A bachelor's degree in music, theatre, or a related field is preferred. Previous teaching experience at the middle or high school level is desired, as is an Alabama teaching certificate, or the ability to apply for certification.
