Position Summary Mary Immaculate Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Junior High Science Teacher to teach students in grades 7-8. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity about the natural world, deliver engaging science instruction, and support the school's Catholic mission.
The Junior High Science teacher should be prepared to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences including labs and experiments, integrate Catholic values and faith-based perspectives where appropriate, assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, maintain a positive and structured classroom environment, communicate regularly with parents, administration, and colleagues and support the overall mission and philosophy of Catholic education.
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Science with at least 12 credits in Education, • Experience teaching middle school or junior high preferred. • Strong classroom management and communication skills. • Practicing Catholic preferred.
