A writing resource lab teacher will host lab sessions with a small group of students covering the humanities content areas. In addition, the teacher will communicate with classroom teachers and parents regularly to ensure student success.
Responsibilities: Check students' progress in their classes regularly Plan lessons based off students' goals and needs Facilitate accommodations for students within their regular classes Collect data on student goals and progress over the year Document and report student's progress on academic goals Regularly communicate with classroom teacher Regularly communicate with parents
Other responsibilities include: Check email on a daily basis, Monday-Friday not including holidays or breaks. Complete training in all technology, Kolbe philosophy and policy, and online teaching pedagogy Attend faculty in-service meetings as directed Attend all department meetings as scheduled
Job Qualifications: Classroom teaching and/or tutoring homeschool students including students with special needs. Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. Master's degree in field or teacher certification (any state). Preferred Previous experience teaching in an online environment. Preferred
Job Requirements: Complete teacher training Dedicate a work space appropriate for conducting live online classes in a professional manner.
