Holy Family High School is seeking an innovative, experienced, and mission-driven High School Librarian for the 2026-2027 academic year. The librarian supports student learning and faculty instruction by curating and managing a dynamic library program that promotes information literacy, research skills, ethical use of artificial intelligence, and a lifelong love of reading, all in alignment with Holy Family's Catholic mission.
The successful candidate will oversee the development and maintenance of a library collection that supports the curriculum and the diverse needs of students and faculty, while demonstrating strong organizational, instructional, and administrative skills.
Responsibilities include:
Managing and developing a library collection that supports curriculum, research, and information literacy
Teaching and supporting students in research skills, information evaluation, and ethical AI use
Collaborating with faculty to integrate library resources into classroom instruction
Overseeing library operations, including budgeting, inventory, and resource management
Pursuing funding opportunities through grants and other initiatives
Maintaining a welcoming, organized, and academically purposeful library environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English or a related field required
Master's degree or higher preferred
Preference given to practicing Catholics
Secondary-level teaching experience preferred
