We are seeking an energetic and visionary Vice President of Advancement to lead recently formed Catholic Polytechnic University's (https://www.catholicpolytechnic.org/) fundraising, development, and community engagement efforts. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for building meaningful relationships, expanding philanthropic support, and elevating our mission through innovative outreach. The Vice President of Advancement will oversee all aspects of donor relations, fundraising campaigns, marketing initiatives, and volunteer management, ensuring sustainable growth and increased visibility across diverse audiences. The consulting engagement will include strategic advisement and active collaboration with the President and leadership team across a range of institutional priorities:
Advising and supporting the President on building and leading a high-performing development team. Supporting the design and implementation of fundraising and advancement strategies, including alternative sources of income. Providing expert input on institutional growth, including the development of strategic visions, academic programs, and key initiatives. Offering guidance on leadership, communication, strategic thinking, accreditation, and organizational development. Representing the institution positively in external engagements with stakeholders, media, and community leaders. Supporting the institution's compliance with applicable educational standards and regulations. Serving as an advisory (non-voting) member of the governing board of the nonprofit institution. As part of this engagement, the VP of Advancment will:
Develop and implement strategic visions and long-term plans for institutional growth through fundraising. Advise and assist with the operations and direction of the fundraising and advancement programs. Propose, manage, and monitor budgets and expense plans related to external affairs and institutional advancement. Collaborate and consult with stakeholders on financial and operational strategies to support organizational goals. Provide counsel on the creation, revision, and implementation of academic policies, accreditation, and standards. Assist in the recruitment and hiring of faculty and staff in alignment with the institution's mission. Develop and promote a strong, positive public image for the VP of Advancement role and institution with community, media and civic networks. Represent the institution in external relations, including outreach to prospective students, partners, benefactors, and the broader community. This consulting agreement aims to ensure a results-oriented, visionary, and collaborative approach that supports Catholic Polytechnic University's growth, reputation, and excellence in education.
Pay: From $125.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 10.0 per week
