The Program Growth Manager serves as The Rosary Team's primary point of contact for both outside organizations (senior care facilities and parishes) and our network of volunteers. This role focuses on building relationships, coordinating volunteer-led Rosary prayer gatherings, and fostering growth in both participation and outreach.
-This contract position is primarily desk-based and involves extensive computer and phone work.
Key Responsibilities:
Volunteer Coordination & Engagement - Coordinate and schedule volunteers to lead and pray the Rosary in group settings at senior care facilities. - Motivate, inspire, and retain volunteers through frequent outreach and consistent communication. - Occasionally may need to orient in person and train new volunteers, ensuring they understand the mission, values, and procedures of The Rosary Team.
Parish & Community Outreach:
- Contact parishes to recruit volunteers by submitting bulletin announcements, Flocknote messages, and other communication channels. - Provide regular updates to parishes about the work and needs of The Rosary Team in their community. - Develop and maintain positive relationships with care facility staff and parish leaders.
Communications & Administration:
- Write professional, mission-aligned emails and texts that reflect the values of The Rosary Team. - Respond promptly and graciously to questions, concerns, and problem-solving needs from volunteers or facilities. - Manage communication through email, text, and phone, ensuring timely follow-up. - Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church, with a devotion to the Rosary.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with people of various backgrounds.
• Basic computer proficiency (email, word processing, spreadsheets and messaging tools). Experience with cloud-based relational databases such as Air table is a plus.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple communication channels.
• Willingness to work primarily from home, with occasional in-person visits for orientations and gatherings.
• Ability to work independently while staying aligned with organizational goals and processes.
Additional Details:
• Schedule: Flexible, approximately 15 hours per week with potential to increase. $23/hr. Contract position.
