Our Lady of the Mount Roman Catholic Church in Warren, NJ is currently seeking a part-time Safety Officer for their Faith Formation (CCD) program and the Portuguese Cultural School.
Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week during school year (Sept / June): Faith Formation: Monday 4:00 - 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 - 8:30 p.m. Wednesday 4:10 - 6:00 p.m. Thursday 4:15 - 5:45 p.m. Portuguese Cultural School: Fridays 4:00 - 8:00 pm As needed for Special Events
The Safety Officer Duties will include: - Setting up safety cones prior to school start - Being present at the Church at arrival and dismissal to ensure safety of children - Monitoring hallways and restroom area during class time - Monitoring security cameras - Assisting the Parish Catechetical Leader as needed (students leaving early, etc.)
Requirements: - Law, Fire, Safety School Officer Background Preferred - First Aid Certified (Administer First Aid, CPR and AED) - Must Complete a Protecting God's Children Certification Administered by the Parish Catechetical Leader - Fingerprinting and Background Check is Required
