Holy Spirit Catholic School is seeking a full-time Elementary Teacher to join their team in Norway, MI. As an Elementary Teacher, you will provide instruction in core subjects including phonics, reading, math, science, history, grammar, and writing, using developmentally appropriate methods that support academic growth. You will also integrate Catholic values into daily lessons, fostering both spiritual and moral development alongside academic achievement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
Develop and implement lesson plans based on the Classical Catholic Curriculum. Evaluate student learning through observations, assignments, hands-on projects, and testing. Establish and maintain a positive, cooperative, and productive learning environment. Regularly communicate with parents and school staff about student progress and needs. Provide individual and small group instruction to address specific learning challenges. Work with other teachers, specialists, and support staff to support student learning.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
Bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred. Previous teaching experience preferred but not required. Practicing Catholic preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to complete fingerprint scan, federally mandated background check, and VIRTUS training.
