As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization and ensuring the financial health and stability of our diocese.
Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a member of the Bishop's Leadership Team providing expertise on financial, operational and strategic matters. • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the mission and goals of the diocese. • Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes for multiple diocesan ministries. • Oversee financial compliance, risk management, and internal controls. • Provide strategic financial guidance to the Bishop and other key stakeholders. • Lead a team of finance professionals and collaborate with other departments to achieve financial objectives.
Qualifications: • Active, practicing Catholic in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church. • Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer or similar role in a complex organization. • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills. • Excellent leadership and communication abilities. • Understanding of Catholic Church financial practices and regulations. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
